Shipping costs can be managed across all customers in PunchCommerce via the menu item "Shipping costs". This can be found within the "Customers" menu.
On the overview page, all shipping methods that have already been created are listed with the following information:
The shipping costs are displayed to the customer as a separate item in the shopping basket during the purchase. This item cannot be removed manually by the customer.
The "Create shipping costs" button can be used to create new shipping methods.
The following details can be defined in the corresponding form:
Name of the shipping method
The name is used to identify the shipping method and does not have to be unique. It is possible to create several shipping costs with the same name.
Price (net)
This value defines the amount of shipping costs that will be added to the customer's shopping basket.
Threshold value (net)
The threshold value defines the maximum shopping basket value up to which the shipping costs are charged. If this value is exceeded, the shipping costs are automatically removed from the shopping basket.
In the settings of a Hosted Catalogue customer, a previously created shipping cost can be selected and assigned to the customer in the "Basic settings" section under "Shipping costs". A maximum of one shipping method can be assigned to a customer.
Shipping methods can be permanently removed via the overview page by clicking on the "Delete" button.
All shipping costs information can be edited using the "Edit" button on the overview page.
