The last two months have been intense. We have worked on many aspects of PunchCommerce - here is an overview of the most important changes.

The processing of individual customer connections has been completely revised. The new details page has a clear two-step layout:
Step 1: Basic settings - on the left the PunchOut settings (protocol, field assignment, decimal places, configuration group), on the right the catalogue settings (shop system, entry address, customer ID). Everything at a glance, without scrolling.
Step 2: Transfer to your customer - the information that your purchasing customer needs to set up the connection on their side.
Another new feature is Expert mode: A toggle that shows advanced configuration options without cluttering the standard view.
The mapping engine for OCI and cXML catalogue data has been significantly enhanced:
If-Then-Else transformations: Field values can now be transformed directly via rules. A typical example: Your shop supplies units of measure in different spellings (piece, piece, pc, pc, pc) - PunchCommerce automatically converts these into the OCI-compliant value (e.g. "PCE"). This works for every field, not just for units.
Fallback values: If a field in the shopping basket is empty, a configurable default value now takes effect (e.g. "EA" as the unit of measure). This means that the PunchOut is not cancelled just because an optional field is missing.
Price rounding: The number of decimal places for prices in catalogue data can now be set per customer connection.
Configuration groups are the central tool for managing settings for several customers at the same time. Instead of configuring each customer connection individually, create a group (e.g. "Germany OCI" or "BeNeLux cXML") and assign customers to this group.
What's new:
In the attached video, I show the new field mappings with transformations, the revised configuration groups and the new customer details page in detail.
The registration page has been completely redesigned - fewer fields, clearer structure. The new form only asks for email and password. That's it.
After registration, a new onboarding panel guides you through the first steps:
The trial logic has also been revised: When the trial period expires, you will see a dedicated page with your created customer connections and clear options (conclude a contract or book a consultation appointment). Data is retained for 30 days after expiry.
The central product and pricing page has been fundamentally revised:
New in the OCI protocol: the Background Search Action. Procurement systems can use it to send search queries asynchronously to PunchCommerce without having to go through the complete PunchOut flow. This extends compatibility with systems that use this OCI extension.
At the end of April, we will be launching a partner programme for agencies, integrators and technology platforms. Refer customers, receive ongoing commission - simple and transparent. More details will follow shortly.
In addition to the partner programme, we are working on further shop system integrations and extended reporting functions. If you would like to test PunchCommerce: 30 days free of charge, no credit card, can be cancelled at any time.
