The link between PunchCommerce and Shopware 6 is now even easier: Gateway customers can now be connected to a Shopware customer directly from the PunchCommerce interface.

Initial situation
-----------------

Previously, the assignment between PunchCommerce and Shopware customers was done manually. The aim was to simplify the process and enable a direct, guided link - without media discontinuity and with clear feedback in the system.

New "Select in shop" button
---------------------------

If the following requirements are met:

- **Type = Gateway**
- **Type of shop = Shopware 6**
- **Shop URL is configured**

the new button **"Select in shop "** appears automatically next to the field **"PunchCommerce uID "**.

As long as the shop URL is not stored, the button remains inactive.

Direct jump to the Shopware administration
------------------------------------------

By clicking on the button, the user is forwarded directly to the **Shopware 6 Administration** (login required if no active session exists).

There exactly **a Shopware customer can be selected and confirmed**, which should be linked to the current PunchCommerce customer.

Automatic transfer of the uID
-----------------------------

After successful selection:

- the return to PunchCommerce takes place
- the corresponding **uID is automatically transferred to the "PunchCommerce uID" field**
- the uID is saved permanently (at the latest the next time the data record is saved)

If the selection in Shopware is cancelled, the existing uID remains unchanged.

Clean error handling
--------------------

Special cases have also been considered:

- Shopware is not accessible
- A valid session or authorisation is missing
- A technical error occurs when returning

In these cases **no uID is set** and an understandable error message appears.

More convenience and process security
-------------------------------------

This extension makes the customer link between PunchCommerce and Shopware 6 much more convenient, secure and transparent.

The new function reduces manual intermediate steps, prevents assignment errors and ensures clear system management.
