The link between PunchCommerce and Shopware 6 is now even easier: Gateway customers can now be connected to a Shopware customer directly from the PunchCommerce interface.
Previously, the assignment between PunchCommerce and Shopware customers was done manually. The aim was to simplify the process and enable a direct, guided link - without media discontinuity and with clear feedback in the system.
If the following requirements are met:
the new button "Select in shop " appears automatically next to the field "PunchCommerce uID ".
As long as the shop URL is not stored, the button remains inactive.
By clicking on the button, the user is forwarded directly to the Shopware 6 Administration (login required if no active session exists).
There exactly a Shopware customer can be selected and confirmed, which should be linked to the current PunchCommerce customer.
After successful selection:
If the selection in Shopware is cancelled, the existing uID remains unchanged.
Special cases have also been considered:
In these cases no uID is set and an understandable error message appears.
This extension makes the customer link between PunchCommerce and Shopware 6 much more convenient, secure and transparent.
The new function reduces manual intermediate steps, prevents assignment errors and ensures clear system management.
