Version 1.5.0 combines all the new features from versions 1.3.0 and 1.4.0 in one release - including interactive PunchOut actions and more flexible price handling. In this article you will find out what has changed and why an update is worthwhile. New: PunchOut promotions - from the purchasing system directly into the shop ---------------------------------------------------------------------------- The most important new feature in version 1.5.0 is the so-called PunchOut Actions. They make it possible to direct users from the shopping system to your Magento shop - not just to the start page, but directly to where they want to go. Three new actions are available: - **search** - The buyer starts a search directly from their procurement system. Your Magento shop immediately displays the matching results. - **detail** - Instead of landing on the start page, the buyer jumps directly to a specific product detail page. This saves clicks and speeds up the ordering process. - **restore-basket** - Transferred SKUs are automatically added to the shopping basket. This means that a previously compiled shopping basket can be restored from the purchasing system. What does this mean in practice? The PunchOut process is much more direct. Your customers find what they need faster - and you reduce cancellations in the order process. More flexible price handling: net as standard --------------------------------------------- When exporting the shopping basket to the procurement system, the plugin now transfers net prices in the `item_price` field as standard. This corresponds to the expectation of most purchasing systems such as SAP Ariba or Coupa - i.e. procurement platforms that process orders via the cXML protocol. If your connected system still expects gross prices, you can change the behaviour in the Magento admin area. The new configuration option "Item Price Includes Tax" resets the behaviour to the previous state. You will find the setting in the plugin configuration - it is not necessary to change the source code. PHP 8.3 and Magento 2.4.7-p3: Future-proof set-up ------------------------------------------------- Version 1.5.0 fully supports PHP 8.3. The module is also compatible with Magento 2.4.7-p3. This means you can keep your shop up to date without having to do without the PunchOut connection.
