New product SupplyCommerce: The easy way to digitalise internal purchasing

SupplyCommerce is the new sister product of PunchCommerce and was developed specifically for internal company purchasing. While PunchCommerce digitalises external B2B sales, SupplyCommerce brings the same efficiency and structure to internal procurement processes.

In many companies, internal purchasing is often still analogue. Orders for workwear, tools, IT equipment or office supplies arrive at the purchasing team by email, telephone or even as handwritten notes.

The result is confusing processes, unnecessary queries, long approval processes and, in the end, often the feeling that budgets are getting out of hand.

SupplyCommerce was developed to solve precisely these problems and make internal purchasing as easy as online shopping in private life.

One place for all internal orders

SupplyCommerce gives companies a centralised ordering platform that all employees can access.

Everyone only sees the products relevant to them and can order them with just a few clicks**, without the need for emails or cumbersome forms.

Clear rules, full control

Budgets, approval processes and cost centres can be stored directly in the system:

- Budgets per employee (e.g. for initial equipment or annual follow-up orders).
- Automatic approvals for orders below certain amounts.
- Customised roles and rights so that every order takes the right route.

Result: Purchasing, controlling and managers maintain an overview at all times.

Simple supplier connection

To ensure that the product catalogue remains up-to-date and complete, suppliers can enter their articles themselves. This can be done via:

  • Web interface
  • File upload (CSV/Excel)
  • Direct API connection

Advantage: Always up-to-date data, less manual maintenance.

Practical example: From chaos to clarity

A construction company with 1,500 employees used to order workwear via many different channels: Email, slips of paper, phone calls. The purchasing team spent hours sorting orders, manually checking budgets and obtaining missing information.

With SupplyCommerce, this is how the process works today:

  1. the fitter selects the items approved for him in the shop.
  2. the system automatically checks his annual budget. 3) If the order value is within the limit, the order is sent directly to the supplier. 4 Purchasing and Controlling can see in real time which budgets have already been utilised.
